You can upload and manage your letterheads in Spectre through the ‘Settings’ > ‘General Settings’ > ‘Uploaded Letterheads’ section. This allows you to personalise your letters with your agency's branding.
Uploading a Letterhead
What it does:
This section enables you to upload your letterhead designs. There is no limit to the number of letterheads you can upload.
How to Use:
-
Make sure your letterhead is saved as an A4 PDF file.
- Click Add new letterhead to upload your design.
Setting a Default Letterhead
What it does:
You need to set one of your uploaded letterheads as the default in order to outsource printing with Spectre. The default letterhead will be automatically applied to all of your letters templates.
How to Set a Default:
-
Once you’ve uploaded your letterheads, click the three-dot menu on the letterhead you wish to set as default.
-
Select Make Default. This ensures your selected letterhead is used for all letters.
Custom Letterheads
What it does:
You can upload as many letterhead designs as you wish. While one must be set as the default, you can manually apply different letterhead designs to your trigger or custom letter templates at your discretion.
How to Apply a Custom Letterhead:
-
Select Edit next to the letter template.
-
In the content editor, click Add Custom Letterhead and choose from the letterheads you’ve uploaded to your account.
Note: If you apply a custom letterhead, it will not use the default letterhead and must be manually changed if you decide to switch letterhead designs in the future.
Previewing and Deleting Letterheads
You should always preview the letterhead to see how it will appear before sending letters.
How to Use:
-
Hover over the letterhead and click the Preview button to view it.
How to Delete:
-
If you wish to delete a letterhead, click the three-dot menu and select Delete.
Uploading Errors
If you encounter an error when trying to upload a letterhead, it may be due to the file size or type.
How to Fix:
- Ensure your file is saved as an A4 PDF.
-
We recommend running your PDF file through a PDF resizer or PDF compressor to reduce the file size and ensure it meets the platform’s requirements.
By uploading and setting your default letterhead, you can ensure that all your letters are branded with your agency’s design. For further assistance or if you encounter issues, feel free to Contact Us.
