The Reviews page in Spectre Social displays all of your Google reviews, pulled directly via the Google integration. From here, you can view, filter, and manage your reviews, as well as control how they’re used in your automated social posts.
Connecting Your Google Account
If you’re prompted to integrate your Google account, you can do this via your company settings:
- Click on your username in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings → Company.
- Follow the prompts to connect your Google account.
Note: You must be a Company Admin to complete this integration. If you don’t have the necessary permissions, please contact the Support Team for assistance.
Overview
Once your Google account is integrated, your reviews will automatically appear on this page.
Each review displays key details such as:
- Rating
- Reviewer name
- Review text
- Review date
Click on a review to open the full view for more details.
Review Settings
Click the settings icon in the top right to open the settings menu, from here you can customise how your reviews are managed:
- Ratings Filter: Choose which rating levels to pull through (e.g., only 5-star reviews).
- Repeating Reviews: Decide whether to repost the same reviews once all available reviews have been used, or wait until new ones sync through.
- AI Review (default): Decide whether to utilise Spectre's AI tool to approve/reject the reviews, this is switched on by default.
Approving Reviews for Automation
Before creating a Review based automation post, we recommend reviewing the content of each review to ensure it’s appropriate for posting to your social accounts.
You can choose to review posts manually, or use the AI Review (default) option:
- Manual Review: You must approve or reject each review manually before it enters your automation flow. To do this click the 'View' button on the relevant review.
- AI Review (default): The AI tool automatically reviews each post individually when it reaches the automation journey.
You can turn AI Review off at any time by clicking the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Filtering Reviews
You can filter your reviews by:
- Rating (e.g., 4-star and above)
- Approval Status (e.g., approved, not reviewed or rejected)
Click the Filter icon to apply or adjust your filters.
