Map Layers

Spectre Property Reports offers a range of map layers that provide valuable context about a property's surroundings, making your reports more insightful and informative. These layers can be easily overlaid on the interactive map to provide a deeper understanding of the area.

Accessing Map Layers

To access map layers, go to 'Search & Create' in the Spectre menu. Then, click 'Map Layers' in the search bar to view the available options. 


Available Map Layers

You can choose from the following map layers to overlay the map on your report:

  • Air quality
  • Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)
  • Common land
  • Conservation areas
  • Historic landfill
  • Local Nature Reserve (LNR)
  • National parks
  • Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ)
  • Radon gas
  • Rail noise
  • Road noise
  • Soil texture
  • Surface water

Using Map Layers

  • You can apply one map layer at a time to better understand the property's surroundings. Simply click on a map layer to switch to the next one.
  • To remove all layers, scroll to the top and select 'None.'
  • To switch between the default map view and satellite view, click the option of choice.

By utilising map layers, you can gain valuable insights into a property’s location and surrounding environment, aiding your personal knowledge of the area with some additional insights! 

 

Please note, map layers are not included in PDF reports.
