The Print Defaults section allows you to configure and manage the standard settings applied to all letter templates.
Letterhead
Manage the default letterhead used across all letters:
- Select a Letterhead: Choose your preferred letterhead from your uploaded designs. This will be applied to all letters by default.
- Change Letterhead: To update or switch the design, click Change Letterhead and select a different file.
Greetings
Set default greeting details for scenarios where landlord information is unavailable:
- Addressee: Enter a generic recipient name (e.g. The Legal Owner).
- If a landlord's name is known, the system will automatically personalise the addressee.
- Greeting: Add a default greeting such as Dear Sir/Madam.
- If a landlord's name is known, the system will automatically personalise the greeting.
Note: Leaving these fields blank will remove the addressee and greeting line from the mailable when a landlord is unknown.
Sign-Off
Customise how your letters are closed, including your sign-off and digital signature:
- Sign-Off Text: Enter your preferred closing (e.g. Kind regards).
- Signature Upload: Upload a digital signature file (max size: 5MB) or drag and drop it directly.
- Adjust Signature Appearance: Use the sliders to fine-tune:
- Space between the sign-off and the signature

- Signature size (in millimetres)

- Space between the signature and your printed name
- Name: Add the name that should appear below the signature.
- Preview: Use the PDF preview panel on the left to view updates in real time.
Note: This sign-off will be automatically applied to all outgoing letters.
Additional Options
Use these settings to enhance letters and ensure regulatory compliance:
- Include Dates: Toggle on to display the letter's sent date automatically.
- Estate Agents Act Disclaimer: Enable this to automatically insert the required compliance disclaimer in the footer—recommended to meet industry regulations.
Finalising Your Settings
- Reset Changes: Click to undo any unsaved modifications.
- Save and Update: Click to confirm and apply all changes across your letters.
