Email Settings

Before sending any email campaigns, you will need to complete the email settings to ensure your communications are correctly branded and GDPR-compliant.

To access your email settings, click on your name in the top right corner of the screen and select "Settings" >  "Manage Spectre Email" and follow the steps below to configure your settings. 


General Settings: 

  • Sender Information:
      • Sender Name: Enter the name you wish to appear on your emails. This can be your agency name or an individual’s name. Please note that this sender name will be used for all emails and will not account for branches and will be applied to all. 
      • From Email: Enter the email address that will be shown as the sender. This must be from your verified domain for compliance reasons. 
      • Reply-to Email: If the "From" email address is not an active inbox (e.g., a generic email like no-reply@example.com), you must provide a real email address where users can respond if necessary.
    • Footer Address:

      • To comply with GDPR regulations, all marketing emails must include a physical address. This address will be automatically populated from your account settings. If you haven’t added a physical address for your branch or branches, go to Account Settings to enter it.

      • If your agency has multiple accounts, you will need to choose one address to apply to your emails. Only one address can be used, ensuring that your footer remains compliant at all times.
    • Email Brand:
      • Choose the branding you wish to use for your email campaigns. If you have multiple brands set up, you can apply them all. However, when creating an individual email template, you will need to specify which branding to use for that particular template.
        • The email system will pull through the relevant colours, logo, and other brand elements based on the selected branding, ensuring a consistent look across your emails.

    • Online Valuations:  
      • The brands shown here are pulled directly from your Street account. Select the brand you want to apply to your Street booking system if including it in any of your email templates.


Spectre AI Settings: 

  • Spectre AI Template
      • The Spectre AI template is used to generate all AI-driven, automated email journeys. You can edit and customise this template to align with your agency's communication style and preferences.

      • Customising this template ensures that all AI-generated, automated emails are consistent with your agency’s tone and branding, eliminating the need for manual edits each time a new email is created.

    • Customise Spectre AI
      • Spectre AI can be trained to write your emails in your unique style, tone, and structure. To do this, provide three examples of emails you've sent in the past that best showcase your writing style, tone of voice, and structure. This will help Spectre AI match your preferred way of communicating.
      • During the setup process, Spectre AI will review your website and generate a summary to better understand your agency. This allows the AI to tailor the automated emails to reflect your company’s voice and branding. You’ll be able to edit the summary if any mistakes or adjustments are needed.
