Automated Posts allow you to create ongoing social media posts based on your property listings pulled directly from your CRM or Portal feed. This ensures your social channels stay active, consistent and branded without manually building every post yourself.
How to Create an Automated Post
- Navigate to Social > Automations > Create new Auto Post.
- Select Your Social Accounts:
- Choose the platforms and pages you want to post to. You can select as many accounts as you like — they will all receive the same posts at the same time.
Note: You will not be able to continue building the automation until at least one account is selected.
What Will You Post?
Currently, Automated Posts can only be created for properties. You can select one or more property types:- For Sale
- To Let
- Sold STC
- You will then need to:
- Edit Post Type: Decide which branch(es) you want the automation to post properties from. You can filter down to specific branches or choose to include all.
- Design Your Post:
-
- Retain your allocated branding colours or update to something different.
- Select templates from our pre-designed library.
- You can select as many templates as you like — we’ll automatically rotate between them to keep your feed looking professional and diverse.
- Or choose to not use templates at all.
- Create your own captions or use pre-designed caption templates.
- Again, you can select multiple — we’ll rotate them automatically to keep posts varied.
When Will You Post?
- Choose how often you want your Automated Post to run — weekly or monthly.
- Set the days and exact times you wish posts to go live.
- When you are happy, hit Done.
Publish
Once everything is set, hit Start Automation to activate your Automated Post. From that point, Spectre Social will begin automatically publishing posts according to the schedule and settings you’ve configured.
If you wish to pause the automation at any time, navigate to your Automations Dashboard, select the relevant automation, and click the three-dot menu > Pause. This will stop any scheduled posts from being published until you choose to resume.
To restart the automation, simply return to the same menu and select Resume — your automation will pick up where it left off, following the same posting schedule and rules you originally set.
How We Choose What to Post
- Most recent updates go first
Whether it's a new listing or a property going SSTC, we’ll always post the property with the most recent update first. - No awkward repeats
Properties are posted newest → oldest. Each property is posted once before the cycle begins again. - Posting multiple property types?
If your automation includes ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’, we post whichever property is the newest overall. - The cycle continues
Once every property has been posted, the cycle resets to continue giving consistent exposure. - No new properties?
We won’t repeat a property within a 7-day window. If nothing new fits within that timeframe, we skip that scheduled slot rather than repeat too soon.
