‘A letterhead is required’ message keeps appearing when I try to send mail out?

As part of Spectre’s built in ‘anti-embarrassment algorithms’, we do require a Default Letterhead to be uploaded within your account before attempting to outsource any mail - even if you are attempting to generate a batch of postcards. If this message appears, please ensure that you check this from within your Settings > Uploaded Letterheads.

If you have letterheads uploaded but none of them are set as the default, you are able to click ‘Make Default’.

If you do appear to have a default letterhead set but Spectre is not identifying this, it is worth attempting to reupload this as a default.

You would do this by ensuring you are selecting 'Set as Default Letterhead' before submitting and uploading.

The default letterhead is the one that will apply to all letters, unless custom trigger letterheads have been set on individual letters triggers.

This should solve the issue and allow you to outsource mail with Spectre but if this issue persists, please contact our Customer Support team on support@spectre.uk.com
